I recently came across this company Miniwiz that makes buildings from recycled plastic bottles. I have a house in San Diego that’s looking for some renovation and I’m really keen to use recycled products. I’m wondering in anyone has heard of anything similar in the California area? I’ve also heard of recycled denim as a building material as well.

Also on the topic of recycled plastic, there’s a pavilion in Taiwan that’s made out of recycled plastic bricks. These “pollibricks” were invented by Miniwiz. Looks very nice:

I’m glad schools are finally stepping in to eliminate the consumption of plastic bottles. Plastic bottles are definitely might pet peeves as a large majority of them won’t ever get recycled.

Raw tomatoes are great snacks on the go. They’re easy to grow and have high antioxidants too.
This might sound weird, but I would chop up tomatoes into slices before sprinkling a bit of sugar on them. Leave in the fridge over night and they make a great sweet snack.

Good eco-friendly gadgets:
http://miniwiz.com/ecogadgetsI stumbled across Miniwiz after they constructed this building made from recycled plastic bottles. Looking to surprise my hubby with some gadgets for Christmas, but they have to be eco-friendly. Suggestions welcome!
Thanks for the info! Here is another site that has green products and solar powered gadgets! http://www.theultimategreenstore.com/

I’d be interested to see the specific details. The environment has always been on the agenda but it’s all been greenwashing at this stage.
