I’ve heard those ’upside down’ tomato planters work well. I grow all of my herbs in pots. I let them go to seed and sometimes they even grow back.

Great reminder to empty the vacuum cleaner canister! Thanks Lane. As for the DE, YES, you should always use food grade. The other type is generally for use in swimming pools and not the same product as food grade DE. I buy my supply online from http://www.gardenharvestsupply.com. Thanks for doing your part!
