The Catawba River Women’s Group invites all women to their Oct. 27 luncheon featuring Terri Bennett. The longtime TV meteorologist will discuss her efforts to encourage sustainable living, including her new book, “Do Your Part.”

The luncheon is 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at Pine Island Country Club. Cost for nonmembers is $25 if paid by Oct. 21; $5 more if later.
