The Crisis Stabilization Unit provides critical service for those experiencing a mental health crisis.

Talkspace offers virtual mental health services for U.S. Navy members and their dependents ages 13 and older living on Guam.

Guam participates in occupational licensing compacts, allowing military spouses to transfer credentials and maintain employment across state lines, supporting workforce continuity and family stability.

Hearts Apart, sponsored by Andersen AFB’s Airman & Family Readiness Center, provides social activities for military spouses and families of deployed service members, fostering connection, networking, and improved quality of life.

The primary function of the CALM and Collect Program is to provide options to reduce the accessibility of lethal means for Service Members (SM) who may be at risk of suicide or harmful behaviors and to educate and promote the voluntary use of gun locks, safes, and other storage options outside the home for privately-owned firearms (POFs) as a matter of general household safety and risk reduction. The is administered by the Guam National Guard (GUNG).

Guam provides government employees who serve in a reserve component of the U.S. Armed Forces with up to 15 days of paid military leave each fiscal year, helping support continued employment during military duty.

National Guard State-Sponsored Life Insurance (SSLI)

Guam provides life insurance coverage through the National Guard SSLI program, supporting financial security, readiness, and family stability for service members and their families.

In Guam, veterans, active-duty service members, reserve members, retirees, and certain family members including spouses, legal guardians, surviving spouses, and eligible Gold Star parents are eligible to have all motor vehicle driver’s license fees waived.

Guam allows eligible state employees to take leave for Department of Veterans Affairs disability appointments, helping veterans access needed benefits and medical evaluations without risking employment or income.

Participates in the Military Interstate Children’s Compact (MIC3), which supports military-connected students and families by standardizing school enrollment, placement, eligibility, and graduation requirements during interstate transitions.
