Alaska’s Military Family Help Center, led by the State Family Program Director, coordinates Joint Support Services and Warrior & Family Services to provide family assistance centers, family readiness support, youth services, and other programs that support military families.

Family and Warrior Support smartphone app, created by the MO National Guard

The MONG app is an app to provide communication, involvement, support, and recognition for Missouri National Guard members and their families.

The Montana Joint Council of Families (MJCF) builds a statewide network to improve delivery of resources and services for military families in Montana, emphasizing community support for service members and their families.

Requires qualifying military members and military spouses to obtain permanent licensure within 30 days of a completed application. 61 licenses issued under SCRA in 2024, 119 in 2025.

Military & Family Readiness Specialists are available to assist service members and their families pre-, during, and post-deployment in six main areas: legal resources, financial counseling, TRICARE resources, ID cards and DEERS, crisis intervention, and community information.

Accelerated Credentialing to Employment (ACE) Program

Utah’s ACE Program fast-tracks credentialing and certifications for military spouses and service members, supporting workforce entry, career advancement, and family stability.

Operation E.L.F., a Connecticut National Guard initiative, provides holiday support and year‑round assistance to families of deployed service members with gift cards, toys, and home services.

The Family Programs Office welcomes all branches, promoting sellf-reliance and resiliency in servce members and their families.

Expands the legal definition of “Armed Forces” to include the U.S. Space Force, ensuring Space Force service members are recognized in state law and eligible for the same benefits, protections, and programs as other military branches.

Provides access to morale, welfare, and recreation facilities at the National Guard Training Center at Sea Girt, supporting well-being and readiness for service members and their families.

A program that offers free childcare through a variety of providers for service members while away on duty during drill.

Kentucky ensures that public employees returning from military service are eligible for rehire to their previous or equivalent positions, helping veterans maintain career continuity and access employment opportunities after service.

Aims to provide additional training and support for the children of National Guard Soldiers via programming and events that are co-sponsored and co-hosted around the nation in conjuction with out State Teen Panel.

Mississippi protects reemployment rights for service members returning from military duty, helping ensure job restoration, benefits continuity, and seniority after service.

Montana provides tuition waivers through the Board of Regents for eligible service members, veterans, and war orphans, reducing financial barriers to postsecondary education for military-connected students and families.
