Family and Warrior Support smartphone app, created by the MO National Guard

The MONG app is an app to provide communication, involvement, support, and recognition for Missouri National Guard members and their families.

Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs

Washington provides resources and support through the State Department of Veterans Affairs, assisting National Guard and Reserve members and their families with benefits, readiness, reintegration, and overall well-being.

Idaho offers a newsletter from Idaho National Guard J9, Service Member & Family Support including a range of support services.

Provides income-based childcare assistance to eligible Idaho families with children under age 13 (or older with a disability), helping working families pay for childcare, including military childcare where Department of Defense requirements exceed Idaho state licensing standards.

Soldier Family Readiness Specialists

South Carolina provides Soldier Family Readiness Specialists to support National Guard members and their families, enhancing readiness, reintegration, and family well-being.

Florida provides support through the National Guard Foundation, offering resources, benefits, and family services to National Guard and Reserve members and their families to enhance readiness and reintegration.

Access to Alabama National Guard Facilities

Alabama provides military members and their families access to National Guard facilities, offering resources and support for readiness, reintegration, benefits, and family services.

Legislative Actions

State employees who are Service members serving in a reserve component of the U.S. Armed Forces are eligible for 15 days of paid military leave per year during authorized training or call to state or federal active duty. Service members who use this leave may not lose seniority, status, efficiency rating, vacation, sick leave or any other benefits. 

Legislative Actions

Colorado private employers must reinstate reserve component Service members who leave their civilian job for military training for up to 15 days per calendar year. Service members must be reinstated to their same or a similar position without loss of status, pay or seniority.

The DoD Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program connects National Guard and Reserve members and their families to resources throughout the deployment cycle, supporting readiness, reintegration, and family well-being.

Wyoming offers the National Guard Referral Incentive Program, providing rewards for recruiting new members and supporting readiness, retention, and family stability.
