Special Motor Vehicle License Plates

South Carolina offers special military vehicle license plates for eligible service members and veterans to honor their service and sacrifice.

Veterans Recognition Toolkit

South Carolina’s Veterans Recognition Toolkit provides best practices for recognizing veterans in the workplace and highlights the benefits of hiring veterans and supporting military family employment.

Military Interstate Children’s Compact (MIC3)

Military Enhancement Plan Fund

State funds are used as grants to military communities for projects that enhance military value, installation resilience, or military family quality of life. This program started in FY 22-23 and has awarded over $33 million to military communities as of September 2025.

Provides coordinated navigation and support services, helping service members, veterans, and military families access benefits, resources, and care.

South Carolina National Guard College Assistance Program (SCNG CAP)- College Assistance Program

South Carolina provides tuition assistance through SCNG CAP for National Guard members and their families, supporting access to higher education, career advancement, and family stability while enhancing readiness and reintegration.
