Washington’s centralized support center for Guardsmen, Reservists, veterans, and military families offers family readiness programs, services, and community connection events.

Increase access to crucial mental health care by facilitating the enactment of interstate compacts that allow for practice via telehealth and for provider license acceptance across state lines.

Child Care for Military Families in Washington State Roadmap

Guides military families through finding and paying for childcare after receiving orders or experiencing a change in family status, including military and civilian childcare programs in Washington State.

Ensures active-duty, National Guard, and other service members and their families have access to high-quality child care in their communities when on-installment child care isn’t available.

GI LAW provides pro bono, no-cost legal services to Florida's active-duty military members.

Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF)

The Supportive Services for Veteran Families program provides housing stability services to very low-income veterans, helping prevent homelessness or rapidly rehouse veterans and their families when housing loss occurs.

Department of Natural Resources Wounded Warrior and Veteran Outreach

Maryland Department of Natural Resources Wounded Warrior and Veteran Outreach offers outdoor recreational activities for service members, veterans, and their families to support wellness and community engagement.

Ohio became the 7th Hidden Hero state to recorganize and support Ohio's Military and Veteran Caregivers by providing resources, building community, and more.

Missouri allows eligible veterans and service members with qualifying military license plates to park in certain metered and public parking spaces without charge, helping reduce transportation costs.

Missouri provides discounted camping rates for eligible veterans, active-duty service members, and their families, helping make outdoor recreation more affordable.

Military members stationed in Delaware may keep their out-of-state vehicle registration but may get a DMV fee exemption if they choose to register in state.
